We often eat here either before or after cinema / theatre and are rarely disappointed. The choice of food is good and twice we've been and put a picture on Instagram and had free prosecco! We loved the previous manager, George, who has sadly left for the Nottingham branch, but the staff are generally helpful and friendly.

This review is based on my experience in a large group. The meal was booked for 7.30 and our starter arrived at 8.45. As we had supplied them with our menu choices before the event, this was unacceptable. The main course was served barely warm. The narrow table we were seated at meant that we could not sit directly opposite... More

We ate here after reading rave reviews, but sadly our experience was poor. I can only imagine that the head chef was not working and the staff they had on were not interested, as both the food and service were poor. I really think this place is over rate on our experience.

We celebrate our mom's 60th birthday here and it was remarkable, great atmosphere, and exceptional cuisine!

Good food and well presented but super overpriced. I expected much more but couldn't fault the presentation of food.

A lovely setting, but very expensive for what you get. Everything is presented well and tastes nice, but it is way over priced.

We have visited several times and always had excellent service and food. The building is exquisite as it is an old chapel which has been sympathetically converted into a beautiful bar downstairs with the tables upstairs, even utilising the pews and family boxes. The food has always been wonderful and any special requests have always been fulfilled. We are shortly... More
