We visited with friends for the first time as it's within walking distance for us. Was a bit disappointed to not find a menu on line before we went but our disappointment soon disappeared when we arrived and got the measure of the local village pub - good old fashioned pub food with a blackboard full of specials! No starters... More

The ceilings are very low. Enough people have bumped their head that they have tried to cushion one beam. Good pub food, good ales, and a fireplace.

We were staying nearby overnight before a flight from Gatwick and found this pub on TripAdvisor. Very accommodating (all tables were reserved for dining when we arrived) and squeezed us in. Can see why it is so popular.... great welcome to non locals, lovely home cooked food and friendly atmosphere.... would return again if we were in the area. Thank... More

Had various meals at the Plough, always first class as are the staff highly recommended, very quaint pub, made special by the extremely helpful staff, and great choice of beers and food, great décor and surroundings, and in an idyllic location next to the church and old cottages, parking is only a minute round the corner, well worth a visit.
