The food is a tad expensive but expected as it's a hotel restaurant. Whenever I'm down in Crawley I always stay at the holiday inn Gatwick worth (where Lyttons is) and eat here - they've got a char grill that they cook all the steaks on - I've had the rib eye a few times and it's always top quality.... We had a fabulous Christmas Day lunch - the food was very good, our only disappointment was that the sauce that came with the xmas pudding was very bland! But everything else was lovely and the service was brilliant! It's the first time we have eaten out Christmas Day and we would certainly consider doing it again! It was also... More

10 of us dined at Lyttons on the first night of a 3 day conference. The ingredients were fresh, fully prepared and presented with care and charm, A very good selection of wine is available; the Malbec was excellent. All in all, this was a very pleasant meal - congratulations and thanks to the team.

Both had the pizza a little pricey but very nice and plenty of it. Drinks as you would expect for being in that area and in a hotel. Staff very pleasant and efficient.

We booked into the hotel for 1 night prior to flying from Gatwick. Wanting a meal without having to leave the hotel we ate at Lyttons. The meal was tasty, with God sized portions and arrived in good time. The staff were friendly. I would recommend that you ask for a table in the centre of the room though, rather... More

The food here is always good, however I must admit that it is slightly pricey, however you come to expect this when staying in a Holiday Inn, especially where other dining options are very limited.

Worse restaurant ever! Lets start with the positive - friendly staff and very professional. Bad points - the FOOD! Over cooked and tasteless food. Various complaints have been made by a lot of guests however the chef is still there! I won't even give it to my dog. Do not waste your money and eat there!

They spend 35 minutes for a Classic Caesar Salad. First take a lot of time and after sauce was missing , cheese was the worst parmesano if was I never tasted and chicken wasn't well done. It have a price of £12 (15€) for something low and bad. I requested oil to extend tea spoon sauce(as maximum) and included with... More

We had dinner whilst staying at the hotel. The food was ok, but lacked any real attention to detail. I had the ham hock to start this had clearly come straight from the fridge making it too cold to really taste the flavours. My fish and chips were fine but when I asked for vinegar only balsamic as supplied?? My... More
