The shop hasn't changed in years and it is just right as it is. Nothing flashy but the comfort food served up here is excellent and remains of the highest quality and excellent value. Pasie and pie and a cake for 2 for around £6. Can't beat that for value!

Get a pastie barm and a mini pastie to snack on. If Jesus was going to eat a pastie, he'd queue up in the rain for one of these. Absolutely Beltin!

We love these pasties, but made a special trip there on a Saturday morning, at a time we used to queue and it was closed. No note to say on holiday or any opening hours. So not sure if its closed permanently?

I left Bolton in 1969 but whenever we visit we stock up on pasties! I know that Walsh's pasties are like Marmite - you are either an addict or you're not. I'm still hooked and the taste brings back many happy memories.

The first bite of my meat and potato pasties was followed by a mmm. Reminded me of the pasties I had when I was little. Gorgeous.

It is simple comfort food but you can't beat the food produced here. As well as the pasties, you should try the excellent (if a bit messy to eat) meat pies and the smaller but equally tasty whist pies. Avoid the peak hour of 12.30 to 1.30 if you don't want to queue. Traditional to eat your food in the... More

This is the one to beat Carr's, without a shadow of a doubt, fab pasties, the best whist pies and in the winter months the black peas are to die for, anyone visited Bolton this is a Must.
