Bamboo was the first takeaway leaflet that I found, so I rang up and ordered,a portion of salt and pepper chilli ribs with a portion of soft noodle with beansprouts. The ribs were very tasty and came in bite sized pieces as opposed to whole ribs, which I prefer.A big portion of soft noodles were very nice too and a portion of... Going away over Christmas, bags packed and taxi to airport picking us up at 3am we ordered a bite to eat from the Bamboo, Chrispy shredded beef, Dim sum combo and curry sauce, instead of the prawn crackers I asked for a fortune cookie instead, a nice munch before our Chrimbo break without having to wash up.....order came to just... One of my favourite Chinese takeaways. Delivery was the time they said it would be and staff nice and friendly. Good, tasty food. They even gave us a complimentary new year calendar ~ all very lovely.

We spend a lot and split the meals over x3 nights. Spending on average £35 last week we weren't even given any prawn crackers. Hopefully just an oversight Soups are good although this weeks was tasteless. Main courses are usually top notch. Chips are miserable ...... Always Overall the best Chinese we frequent, plus they deliver and cook "WOKSLIM" which... More

Last night 7 of us ordered food from Bamboo, and usually I have no complaint at all about the service, the cost or the food itself. Unfortunately, I encountered something new from Bamboo - when you spend a good amount they will include extra bags of their greasy prawn crackers and a large bottle of soft drink. We had bags... When Bamboo's first opened its doors to the public in 1967, it was the only Chinese takeaway in the whole Preston. From the success and recognition of today is purely down to Head Chef Johnny Wong and his wife Bobo. The creative cuisine you enjoy is based on the family route from native home in Hong Kong when he spends time to help in the kitchen learned from his mother, cooking was fun and especially wood fire was the only fuel available to used; Food has to be cook fast and fresh because the flame from wood fire cannot be control, this creates “wok on fire “ But it's not just Johnny in the kitchen. He works with a team of talented chefs. Together, they invent and wok up exciting Chinese dishes for you to enjoy. Stop by Bamboo to try some of their tasty creations – hot, fresh and share the fun with your family and friends at Bamboo.
