We arrived and sat at a dirty table, the female staff members didn't even take a double look at us and continued their loud gossiping, swearing etc in the kitchen within earshot of all the customers. Finally, we were offered a menu and our orders taken. For the price, the food was abysmal. Staff continued gossiping and walking around with... More

Gave this a second chance as under new management, unfortunately no better, terribly slow uninterested service, had to ask for table to be cleared, girls were happier chatting in the kitchen and playing with their phones. Sadly there won't be a 3rd chance.

This café is tucked away round the back of a gift shop and although it doesn't have an extensive menu, it does what it does very well. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the paninis and coffee were delicious. It's got a strange décor and feel about it, but it all works and works well.

We found the place by accident whilst walking down the main road. You walk down a little alley & suddenly there's this gorgeous shop with a cafe at the back. We had a lovely baguette & panini for lunch which was served with a big side salad as well. Good tea & coffee menu, reasonably priced food & friendly staff.... More

Whilst the food was nice enough, the service was very slow. The coffees arrived fairly promptly, but were not exactly piping hot. Sadly, they were drunk well before the accompanying toasted teacakes arrived, which initially came with a pot of "spread" rather than the advertised butter - this was replaced when asked for. With a little bit more forward preparation... More

I wasn't sure how good the food was going to be when we sat down. Rustic tables and limited menu. Food took a while to come and didn't all arrive together but was cooked to order. Pizzas were excellent - really tasty. Hotdog sandwiches were very big and tasty apparently. Homemade scone was good too.

Good for cakes and coffee, and lunch snacks. Also pizzas. Nice seating around the back of the very good gift shop.

On this decidedly blustery September day - the last of this week's hols in the area - we set out from our self-catering cottage for Broadway where we embarked on an enjoyable 4 miles trekking up to view the famous Tower. Quite a climb it proved to be but all excellent exercise for these two 'old dears' and it really... More
