Great choice of beers, friendly staff, a little bit of history, live music, quizzes and Manchester eggs. What more can you ask for

Lass O'Gowrie is one of the best pubs serving real ale of very good quality including there own house beer, bar food also very good, and best of all as a CAMRA member there is a discount of 50p off a pint. What's not to like.

Was on my way back to the Airport and did not want to leave Manchester without having a beer. Quite cozy if I ever return to Manchester it will be on my list.

Great to see the Lass revived and back in business with the tried and tested strategy of loads of real ales (about 15). Still love going here after 40 years. Ate there and food was budget basic stuff so just OK (pie, frozen chips and peas for a fiver).

Lovely little pub with so much great memorabilia inside, excellent real ale range and warm hospitality. Be aware that they don't do meals before 12pm anymore.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Always a good selection of beers, which are frequently changed so you can try something different each visit. Every time I have been to this pub the toilets have been immaculate

Great old place. Well situated, not to busy even on a Saturday night when we were there. Decent beer selection. Nice clientele. Lots of history. It's only a pity they no longer put on plays upstairs

Visited late afternoon on a Saturday, and the pub was completely empty other than our party of 3. Nothing wrong with this as we had choice of seats which were very comfortable in the smaller rear room, though the complete lack of anyone else did surprise me. A good range of beer, and friendly bar staff. The pub has changed... More
