I chose this restaurant last night as a birthday treat with my friend. Firstly it was cold, I sat in my coat the whole meal and nobody bothered to ask me if I was ok. We were seated and then ignored for at least 10...More

Had to ask three times to be seated. Staff were not interested in taking our order. Served everyone else around us but we were ignored. Average overpriced food. I’m not sure what the mouldy lemon on the table was about -hardly decorative. Would not return.

Called by chance at lunchtime and was very impressed by the experience. Very busy in fits and starts throughout the lunchtime service but it was very pleasant to soak in the atmosphere whilst sat at the bar and we were not forgotten and well looked...More

This place is one of my wife's favourite restaurants. I haven't been too impressed at the previous couple of visits, but I have to say on this latest occasion everything was really good. It wasn't busy and the service and food were excellent.

Had a really lovely meal here on New Years Eve. Foid is excellent, better than the original San Carlo across the road. But the loos are actually part of House of Fraser and were absolutely disgusting. Ruined the experience a bit.

We strolled in with our overnight bags, feeling a little worse for wear. We had delicious food and coffee in front of us very quickly. Great service and friendly staff. We've never been here before, but I'd visit again.

After discovering Manchester hospitality is not an earlier riser on most days, even less on public holidays .... this was open (unlike 90% of the places I walked past) and it was delightful for breakfast. Lovely setting, very friendly staff - had the large brekkie...More
