I've said it all it smells. It's Sunday afternoon and they've had plenty of time to clear up. I won't come here again.

Only went for lunchtime drinks and it ticked the box for being a very good venue ,helpful and friendly staff with a wide selection of reasonably priced drinks and nibbles.

We have used this many times over the years and with good reason. It has a fabulous range of drinks at decent enough prices for the city centre. It is located just off Saint Annes Square and it’s handily placed for the centre of town....More

The food is really cheap and it’s just simple tapas, it’s ok? Nothing special but for the price it is, it’s not a bad little meal. Not the nicest place visually and the service was ok? Won’t rush to go back?!

Words fail me, it's just amazing. Try the special chorizo, it's a really unique taste; it's like a kick in the balls from a beautiful girl then a kiss from her straight after. Well worth it.

Ive been meaning to write this for a while. The reason the food was poor was due to not enough selection of gluten free range at the time. The waiter asked if i was really allegic or was it a fashion? Kind of annoys me...More

We luckily happened upon Sandinista by hearing the music from down the street having already eaten elsewhere... We popped in, just to see what it was like for a very quick drink and ended up staying for nearly 4 hours! A cracking place with a...More

My fella & I go in here about twice a month. Excellent food & service. Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had, we usually get around 4 tapas & are filled up! I like the chilled atmosphere & that they serve food late on...More

This place used to have great bar staff who knew their drinks. Tonight they looked them up on google...and they were mediocre for it. What a shame. We would love to return and be served the high quality cocktails by knowledgeable bar staff that we...More

We came across Sandinista by chance at the end of a day at the Christmas Markets. The menu outside looked interesting and we see the bar was packed. When we explained we wanted to eat we shown to one of the few spare tables right...More

Inspired by a love for music, food, drinks and Latin culturewith the maxim ‘nuestra casa es tu casa’ – our home is your home. And as the Eagles sang...“you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave” MusicMusic is our passion and Joe Strummer is at our heart. The Clash inspired us to name our bar after their 4th album ‘Sandinista’. We play an eclectic mix that covers rock, indie, funk, soul, reggae, 80’s and more. Central American CultureSandinista!s revolutionary theme is influenced by the political movement in Nicaragua - The Sandinista National Liberation Front . They liberated Nicaragua with an oppressive right-wing regime in 1979 to 1990. The Central American influence is carried throughout the Latin inspired food and drink menu as well as the décor. Rock ‘n’ Roll and Food For the SoulIt's more fun to eat in a bar than drink in a restaurant! Our menu focuses on Spanish Tapas. Our dishes embody Sandinista!’s Latin inspired food ethos: simple great tasting cuisine that reflects the culture it was born out of. Drinks (open every day till 3am)Why did the Mexican push his wife off the cliff?...............Tequila!!!!Sandinista!'s impressively stocked bar offers an impressive range of cocktails from the four corners of the globe, our top sellers being fruity, tangy twists on Mojitos, Daiquiris, Mai Tais, Margaritas and Juleps. Our back bar boasts an array of quality tequilas, rums and spirits with a fine selection of beers.
