Went at busy time, Saturday around 17:00. Needed a magnifying glass to see items on menu they were so small and room is dark. When ordering food I asked server confirm they were gluten free and he told me check menu myself!!! Hanging chicken kebab and fries were nice, but potions small and would have expected a little salad.

Thank you for taking the time to review The Oast House. We have separate allergen menu's which we direct our guests to as we are not allowed to make recommendations on what is suitable for different dietary requirements to avoid confusion. I will relay your food comments to the chef and i hope you will give us a second chance... More

An absolutely fantastic place, the waiting on staff were so welcoming and helpful with our meal choices, (ensuring that we knew the jerk salmon hanging kebab was spicy when our 9 year old ordered it.) The food itself tasted as good as it looked, we had a variety of hanging kebabs: chicken, salt & pepper pork and salmon all of... More

Great place for a informal meet up with friends over food and drinks, can be a bit loud at the weekends but that's the points, food is decent and drinks are good, located in spinningfields, the pub definitely the stands out compared to the surrounding offices

Rustic pub plenty of character spent Monday afternoon in there listening to great selection of music. Several beers to choose from. Menu is simple but good quality and well presented..see pic.. from hanging kebabs burgers and deli food. Some games to play to while away the time.. jazz singer pianist started up about 6pm very impressed. Left about 7 so... More

The bar itself is not so big, however there is a lot of undercover outside seating. Its not the cheapest bar in town but all of the bars in Spinning fields are slightly pricey but it is a slightly more up market part of town. It is conveniently situated right outside the crown court so if you end up in... More

Thanks for reviewing the Oast House Tony, here's hoping our proximity to the courts doesn't mean any of our patrons are before a judge in no time! It's better outside on our courtyard than behind bars! :) More

The Oast House is one of the best pub-bars you can go within the Manchester City Centre during the week or on a Sunday evening and enjoy a cosy lively atmosphere. It reminds me of the wooden houses u can find in the mountains close to ski resorts.Sometimes there is some live music on.Also,it is great during the summer, when you can... Went with friends and, because people were sitting at the bar (perfectly fine ) asked what beers were on and got relayed a list of lagers. Ok; the guy was Spanish (we thought) and so we asked again about english beers and he said "oh, ales" and they had four on (which was good). On sitting at a table, we... More

Popped in during a shopping trip to the city to refuel before going back for more shopping. We shared a cheese fondue which was incredible and totally filled us up.
