I read a lot of negative reviews and was a bit put-off by them, but have enjoyed the one in Rusholme and decided to try it. Place is decent enough, food was quite good and the service as well. If you like Indian cuisine and are not anywhere near Rusholme, then you should definitely try it. Service is good, if... More

Nice service, and quick to get the meals in this restaurant. We ordered Lal Qila Mix Starter, Tandoori Mixed Grill,Chicken Tikka Masala, Vendaloo (very hot😌), raita and garlic nan bread. Everything tasted very good, and there was good value for money.

Visited on a Sunday evening before a Bank holiday in May, on entering the bar area, waiters were not welcoming and inviting and it took them an age to decide which table we were to be seated at despite the place not been busy at all! The service all evening was non attentive and the food very bland indeed. The... More

Went with the family for my brothers 30th birthday. We ordered chicken jalfrezi, lamb dopiaza, king prawn garlic, keema mattar and mattar paneer. the food was delicious but the chicken was on the spicy side. The staff were wonderful and we all enjoyed the meal.

Lovely flavours enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere whilst visiting Manchester overnight. We had poppadoms with pickles followed by main courses and had more than enough to enjoy with drinks for just over £40. The restaurant is in a good location to eat after walking around the scenic beauty in the Castlefield district.

Came here on a saturday night 8pm. Didnt reserve. Restaurant was quiet for prime time city centre restaurant. Hardly sat down properly before waiter asked for drinks. Ordered 2 curries, rice, naan and poppadoms. Food was nice but average. Feel like menu is aimed at western customers. Had to remind waiter about poppadoms. And still not arrived when we were... Varied menu, best examples of indian dishes, desserts and friendly service. Gulab Jamun was perfect. It was very neat and clean as well.
