Recently paid a visit here and was very impressed! A refreshing change, from the chain coffee shops in the area! It has a laid back/no rush atmosphere, along with a great choice of food and drink! Keep up the good work!

Me and partner come here regularly and it’s such a lovely place. You can get snug inside in the winter and sit outside under the colourful bunting in the summer. We love it :D

I eat out often. I appreciate good service. A warm smile and friendliness can bump up an okay place to good, through simple human interaction. Not so here. The chap on the counter was one of the least friendly people I've met. Simple questions about...More

This cafe is consistently good. I visit regulary and have never had a bad experience. It's good for veggies/vegans though a few more vegan options are always welcome! We had soup today and actually, the portions were way too big! 1/3 less would have been...More

We tumbled cross this cafe in Manchester when visiting for the weekend. Staff are lovely, the cafe is comfy and the food and drinks are great. They also support charity work helping the homeless x

A nice, friendly place to go and relax with coffee and cake, etc. Very much a casual, improvised vibe to it. I found the Zine Library an interesting diversion.

Hi Cat, There is a lift! If you enter via the methodist church (not the café's regular entrance) you can enter the Cafe via the lift by pressing basement. To exit via this route, speak to a member of staff and they'll be... More
