This is a really great place, we had soup and a sandwich. Both were excellent, well prepared and presented in a very clever way. I had heard about it from my son but was amazed at the quality of the food. We will return and slowly work our way around the extensive menu.

Came with my friends, family and children 2 days on the trot whilst down visiting from Scotland and loved it. Very well priced and good quality food, a relaxed environment and perfect for us all just to kick back and eat some good food. I'll be back on my next visit :)

We stopped here to refuel during a shopping trip. It's just great. We had really well-flavoured soups, excellent bread and (joy) local beer. The menu caters for everyone and although soup is a main focus there's an all day roast dinner as well. Worth seeking out, we'll be back for sure.

I came here and was served by a very friendly member of staff, I didn't catch her name but she had very nicel eyes and was very helpful and informative when I enquired about the menu. I had some absolutely delicious soup that was really flavoursome and could tell it was home made and contained high quality ingredients. I also... More

Spacious place to stop for lunch. Not too busy as it was early afternoon. Lovely lunch here recently - such a variety of soup with hearty bread and great choice of sandwiches. Coffee was good too.

Sorry you feel we are "overpriced" we feel we are very competitive in price compared with similar city centre venues. With recent duty increases on alcohol and annual price increseaes from suppliers not reflected on any of our product yet, you may find we are "underpriced". I noticed in one of your other reviews you said weathersponns Piccadilly was over... More

Light lunch of tasty soup in a bar atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good food and excellent value. Recommend for rough and ready food away from the chains.

I was ignored 6 times by the bar staff . 3 staff and it took 6 min to get a pint . Ok I might be in my 50s but it's old gits like me that made the Northern Quarter what it is .

Ah sorry about that, I'd say 6 minutes to get a drink in a city centre bar is quick. Sorry you feel his way, one star, ouch!! More

Nice atmosphere and good soups. Nice staff who let us try a couple of the soups before we committed to ordering them. Might be a touch pricey for a bowl of soup and a piece of bread.
