Staff that served us was useless. His attitude was pathetic and he was only interested in making sure his beanie hat was looking good. His way of serving (or complete lack of) was to not bother even bringing us menus, getting orders wrong and not being very informative about any of the dishes on offer. Complete waste of time for... The £5 lunch menu was fantastic, with two vegetarian options that didn't even feel like an after thought! The beet & bean burger i had with chips was lovely. Will be coming again!

The floors in here are a deathtrap. Swimming with booze and dirty, not necessarily the fault of the bar, more so the guys that can't handle their booze. Always busy when I've come and staff serve quickly, but don't engage. Dark, good 90s music, but just need to get those bouncers to do walk around to prevent the drunken ones... More

Throughout the world there are cult places that thrive on an undeserved reputation but surely Manchester's northern quarter takes the biscuit. It's a foul zone in a city with much to offer. This pub is utterly nasty (in my opinion).

The music is always spot on and the atmosphere is lovely. One of the bars that is a must visit whenever we go to the northern quarter. Drink are a little on the pricey side but then aren't all the bars on Manchester!? Well worth a visit and lots of beer choice and cocktails if that's what you like.

Stopped here for a late lunch after being turned away from a couple of places. Here the staff actually opened up the upstairs bar for us, which soon filled up with other customers. I had the baa burger with skin-on fries which I very much enjoyed, the only thing missing was a bit more seasoning in the lamb burger itself.... More

A warm welcome was made by the barman, and we settled into a table within this trendy venue. This is a bar, not a restaurant, and the food and service is reflected as such - but ate food was quick enough to arrive, and of good quality. Would return again for a relaxed drink and a bite to eat.

Dropped in on a Saturday for lunch. Busy place but we got a table for two. Menu is good for a pub. We chose tapas. Deal was three plates for around £12 but to be honest there wasn't too much and we should have gone for two mains instead. Why is this always the case when ordering tapas? Overall we... More

Location brill, on 2 floors, seemed plenty of space, loved decor, ambience good. Good range of drinks though we were told to ignore drinks menu (after had already looked thru it and chosen). Ended up starting with lager shandy as still early but tasted really syrupy -like it had come from a soda stream, couldn't finish it. We ordered one... More
