Steaks x 2 were very poor stringy and fatty . Cold sauces poured over the top did nothing to enhance flavours . Staff on the other hand were lovely and very apologetic. . Will not return any time soon

Saturday 8th April enjoyed a wonderful pre-theatre meal at Al Bacio. we had booked in advance and were welcomed at the door and escorted to a secluded table for two. After selecting wine we were allowed to choose our starters and mains at our own pace ( no hovering waiters to contend with ). When the courses arrived they were... More

A warm greeting on entrance and a complimentary cock tail was a good start. The service was top rate and it turned out that the food was as well. Our choice of dishes included Seafood, chicken, steak and pizza and nobody was disappointed. The ambience was very pleasant and the place was spotless. A very good evening was had by... More

Had a great night in this wonderful restaurant! Staff very attentive and food excellent. Lovely aptmosphere. Slight mix up with one of the desserts and we were given a complimentary Limoncello to make up for it. Would definitely return to this restaurant if ever in Manchester again.

We visited on a very quiet midweek lunchtime. Until about 1:15 there was only one other table occupied, so the atmosphere was a bit lacking. After that another 3 tables were taken, so it was a little better, but by no means busy. We had been before and knew that there was a very good lunch menu, £12.95 for 2... More

Went to dinner with 3 friends using a groupon deal for 2 courses each and a glass of prosecco. The selection of food was good, I had the Melanzana Millefoglie and Linguine Di Mare which were actually really tasty. We ordered garlic bread (not part of the groupon deal) to arrive with the starters, but mid way through the starters... More

My boyfriend took me here for a little Valentine's Day date. It was absolutely beautiful inside, staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered a margarita pizza (lovely and not expensive at all!) and my boyfriend ordered the tagliata rucola (he said it was very nice but maybe not worth the £19 odd he paid).... More

Dined here twice now and on both occasions have left feeling more than satisfied with both food and service. In my experience, starters are quite often just that...but here, it's more than that. I rarely pass up an opportunity to sample pork ribs and the baked Costoletti di Maiale with accompanying sauce is a pure delight and near enough filled... More

I use to visit this venue regularly when it was Cesare and then San Rocco I decided to call in again my dining buddy and I were not disappointed. Although our visit was on Thursday afternoon and the restaurant was not particularly busy the starter we had (Mixed meats and cheese etc.) hit the spot the lasagne and the seafood... More
