Followed trip Advisor to find a reasonably priced restaurant with excellent cuisine. The entrée coq d'œuf? was fabulous with truffe and fois gras. A must try! The fish for main course also excellent. Service very good. Punch nice and only €3 a glass However the bill came to €46 for one so a memorable meal but acceptably priced. The only... More

Had a really nice meal here with a very helpful and friendly server. Started with a very tasty and "chunky" Porc pate that was very aromatic. The seared tuna was as good as it gets and the lamb chops were done very nice and mostly tender although the outer edges were a bit tough.

Meal of the day was good value for money. Fresh cod steamed vegetables - very tasty. We sat outdoors and found the road busy at lunchtime

Passing through Bayonne we were pleased to come across Itsaski. Staff were really friendly and dealt patiently with our broken French. The food was great too, our lamb perfectly cooked. A well deserved 5 stars.

Called to make a reservation but the waitress who picked up the phone was utterly rude! Told me the restaurant was full and put the phone down on me. Poor attitude. Did not even bother to try..

There is a row of restaurants, and after walking the lenght of the street walked back and decided to stop randomnly at one. We chose to sit outside by the river... More

An excellent Basque bistrot, and a standout among the many restaurants along Bayonne's quays. The ambience is excellent, and the staff (it's a family affair) extremely friendly and efficient. I had some excellent veal and a "deconstructed" strawberry cheesecake, There's a fine wine list also. Should I find myself back in Bayonne, I will certainly revisit.

This is a friendly, smily, family owned restaurant. 15euro for today's lunch. We had a grilled pork with green bean source as a main dish with a pleasant river view.

You have a choice: be sure to make a reservation or be lucky. We were lucky as we just turned up and were generously given a table for two outside. Later we noticed that others were similarly lucky but many were turned away - its a matter of timing. Interesting stories on every table and lots of pedestrian traffic, but... More
