Well worth a visit. Lovely cosy setting of just 11 tables. We were here on a Tuesday so no booking required. The weekends would require booking. Friendly wait staff delicious food 10 out of 10!

Three generations of Joneses had lunch here ahead of the Welsh match last Saturday. What a feast for the taste buds and incredible value too. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I enjoyed the prawn salad, the chicken chasseur and the delicious cherry clafoutis. Puddings especially got the thumbs up from all of us. Other Welsh supporters... More

My wife and I heard of this restaurant before our trip and made reservations 2 weeks ahead by email. It was fortunate that we had because the restaurant is very small with perhaps 10-12 tables - and all but ours were full. Although the restaurant doesn't have an imposing exterior, the interior is very cozy and comfortable. We were warmly... More

Excellent authentic bistro. Expect typical French service (3 hours). But the food is excellent, and very reasonable. Definitely worth a viit, but call for reservations as there are only a dozen seats

It is more and more difficult to find a restaurant which serves local specialities but this one does. The owner is in the kitchen and a charming and efficient lady (I think his wife) proposes and serves the delicious dishes. Small restaurant and full of locals so don't forget to reserve.

The formula for success is still the same for every business: quality product and great service to produce higher value for the customer. This restaurant is a poster child for a well run business. Thank you for the refreshing experience in a world of mediocrity!

We chose Le Croc-Loup based on the good reviews on tripadvisor, and it was even better than the reviews! We reserved half an hour before going and were lucky to find a table for two because the restaurant was full when we arrived (just our table was available), and many came after us and couldn't get a table. The waitress... More

While visiting or do we checked trip advisor for answers and recommendations for restaurants. The reviews were incredibly helpful. Unlike yelp, where some of the reviews are hidden, trip advisor shows all reviews. This restaurant was amazing!

Cozy restaurant with great food. That night, the place was full (about 8 tables) and being served by one very busy, but efficient, waitress. Delicious boneless chicken leg specialty. And really good desserts!

Just now came back from this restaurant... We were the only non-locals. Our tour guide from today made the reservation for us. The meals were delicious and desserts even more-so! I had the meringue atop a killer raspberry sorbet w whipped creme surrounded by raspberry sauce. Hubby had a chocolate mouse layered w thin chocolate slices. Amazing.
