Service is slow. We've had a ham and cheese crepe and another goat cheese crepe. We did not finish both though we were hungry. Terrible indeed except for the location.

Went for an early evening drink. Service terrible. After 20 minutes went to bar and ordered Superior Red wine myself. Staff carried on talking to each other. It was quiet and when wine arrived it was awful. Especially having come from Bar a Vin which was fantastic. Avoid.

Big place, lots of out door seating with comfortable chairs and heaters for cooler days. In addition to the bar restaurant, there is also a fancy ice cream parlour and a creperie. Something for all tastes. We have just been there for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Both are fairly priced with friendly service.... More

Went in for a drink and went back later for food. Lovely salad with plenty of ingredients. Nicely dressed and not drowned. Friendly staff with decent service. I loved the stained glass.

Great spot to sit on the river in Bordeaux and have a snack and a couple of drinks and soak up the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food filling.

Looked the part. Service good, prime location. Good atmosphere. Good cherry beer. Enough tonic for 4 gins! Haha

The reason we went here is that we needed free Wifi to locate our rental apartment for the night. Their Wifi wasn't overwhelming so I used the Free Bordeaux City Wifi. I ordered a Pear Helene, which barely had any pear in it but way TOO MUCH Vanilla ice creme After adding one glass of wine and one apple cidre,... More

Nice location and as we sat outside you could really get a feel for Bordeaux. Food was average the salad even poor for what we used to here in France. Friendly (not execptional) staff.

We just had a cup of coffee for the sake of it - this place is very touristy and the prices are high. The interior is famously ghastly - but worth a look. Don't feel you HAVE to have a meal here - don't be a sucker.

This café on the banks of the Garonne near the Place de la Bourse is a must. The owner had it decorated with rocaille and mosaics. A perfect piece of architecture.
