I love this style of place. Simple menu, reasonably priced and good tasting food. Very popular with a healthy line on the lunch hour. Steak and frites were fantastic with the signature sauce.

We arrived on time to get a table but it definitelly did not worth to wait for 40 minutes. We got the rudest service ever. The waitresses were not caring about anything, serving us like animals, they were not a bit polite or nice, they just wanted us to finish as fast as possible and then give our table to... More

Can recommend this restaurant for the price and quality of the meal. No booking so need to get there early for dinner but lunch is usually less busy. The little salad with dressing before the main meal of steak, with sauce and chips, wonderful for the price.

We arrived at L'entrecote on a rainy lunchtime in early March at about 13h15 and were shown to an empty table within a couple of minutes of our arrival. We just went with the standard salad, steak and chips with no sides and just plain water. The service from the staff was courteous yet efficient, and we were tucking into... More

What a delicious lunch we've had here. So simple but absolutely perfect. Only one menu choice of steak and chips for €19. Absolutely delicious steak and heavenly crispy fries. Perfect.

This is a very popular restaurant in Bordeaux and deservedly so. The menu is restricted to entrecote and chips but what entrecote and chips. You cannot book so it is common to see queues outside but the food and the welcome are second to one and it is very affordable. Not to be missed if you are in Bordeaux and... More

Recently visited L'Entrecote with my Fiancee on her birthday. Absolutely amazing place. We had to queue to get in but it was completely worth the wait. We went for the nicer local wine choice which was worth it too.

What a great place. Fabulous food with excellent service. 20 euros each, no menus just a crisp walnut salad starter followed by the most beautiful tender sliced beef in a butter sauce with skinny fries. Huge queue to go in but we waited only half an hour before our turn came with the efficiency of the front of house team.... More

Description
The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.
