The large windows of the restaurant overlook the sea and make for great sunsets. Food needs to be good in this seaside town with such a wealth of fresh seafood and this restaurant does everything well. A very enjoyable evening.

We went there as a Family with 1 child (age 4) for Dinner. From the previous reviews I thought they are a quite Family friendly restaurant. Well, they are not really. Lets say, they tolerate children. The food was very nice for us adults, although we had a slight concern to fully get stuffed in the beginning. The portions are... More

We were expecting to eat something with the wow factor but sadly this did not materialise. We had the €36 menu which looks like good value. But the food didn't hit the mark for us. I was fairly happy with my meal but my wife found her ceviche starter far too acidic, and her fish main very bland. Maybe it... More

My wife and I ate here on the recommendation of Bruno, the owner of our hotel Les Almadies. Bruno ran this restaurant for 21 years before selling it to buy the current hotel. We were given a very warm welcome and shown to a window table, reserved for us by Bruno. The views are spectacular from here, especially around sun... More

We ate here this evening and we weren't disappointed. We had the €36 menu. Our hors d'oeuvres were excellent: prawns in an amazing sauce and a generous plate of bellotta ham. For mains we both had fish: john dory and cod, both cooked perfectly. The desserts were very good as was the relaxed atmosphere and the service. The staff were... More

Our hotel recommend us this restaurant for dinner. We booked our table at 8.30pm and were seated by the window which was wonderful as we got to watch the sunset while dining. My partner and I had the menu at 36euros with a delicious bottle of the White Arretxea wine. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was absolutely spotless.... More

We dined here once on a nice spring sunny day. We had the 3 course meal for €32. The preparation and presentation were nice. Nice limited menu with all fresh ingredients and what's available in the market. Fish and seafood is the main theme, which is what we were looking for. For desert I enjoyed the cheese plater paired with... More

Very unwelcoming. "You're from l'hotel?" Shouted "come on" and seated us in corner table in full sun. We then waited for 20 minutes for the menu even though two local couples came in the meantime and were treated like customers - unlike us. You may ask why did we stay. Well, we were curious to see how bad it could... More

With the beautiful location with nice view, eg. sunset, over the wonderfull large beach, this restaurant is a class better than the nearby competitor Kaiku restaurant. It offer mostly seafood but we wanted some meat with Bourgogne wine, so we ordered lamb and pigion respectively. Both extremely delicate. Great service in English and delicious appeticers served.
