We have experienced Bodega Koko a lot of times over several summers. The staff is really welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent with a lot of creativity and flavor. The terrace is nice for a lunch or dinner. The tapas are also just amazing ! Well done....a great place !!!

Located not directly in the center in a side street, but only 5 min to main church, try to get a table outside for enjoying street view. Fish is excellent and high value for low price, try the seasonal local fishes with local white wine

Excellent Basque style food and wine - it was a find for Monday night at 21:00pm, when most restaurants are closed in the region. The service was very good, the atmosphere local but uncrowded, and the better wines were good, if a little pricey. Not a soupe de jour, but a soupe de moment!

My wife and I have sampled some really good restaurants in Saint Jean de Luz and surrounding areas, but this evening we wanted something a little more reasonably priced, without losing too much on quality. I think Bodega Koko hit the mark. We had two courses (mains of gratin de morue, and then we shared the fromage Brebis), accompanied with... More

We chose to dine here on the basis of the good TA reviews and in all honesty were disappointed. The good points - really warm service from all staff and a nice greeting from M Koko himself. However the menu is quite limited and, if you do not want to eat fish or raw steak/tuna there is not a lot... More

Amazing place and amazing food. Tourist friendly. Very simple menu but outstanding quality and the best mackerel and steak tartare we've eaten.

Very friendly service, massive portions, good atmosphere. ))) tourists friendly. Either going for food or drinks everything arriving promptly and the (I think the owner) Koko greeting his guests on entrance and we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you very much for the amazing time we've had.

Definitely worth eating in this understated pub. The food verges on artistic, is very fresh and tastes great. Service was very good. Surprised by the price of entrees (€13 for tomatoes and cheese) and drinks (€5 for a small kir).

We looked on trip advisor to select a local restaurant and this came up trumps for style of food, location and ratings. We arrived at a busy time and were seated inside as all of the outside tables were either occupied or pre booked. The ambience was very good inside so we weren't bothered by this. The staff soon realised... More

We came several times last Summer and loved this restaurant. It continues to be excellent. Their tapas plates are a must! Their tuna special was also delicious. The service is very friendly. They have a large outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. It is very reasonable and the price-quality is excellent!
