Very creative cuisine, perfectly realized and presented. The dishes surprising, but always delicious. Service is courteous and friendly, only the person who sets the table had a bad day. Fair price for this level of quality. Very impressing wine list.

We stayed at Maison Decoret as we travelled back through France from Spain en route home. It was a treat so we also ate in their fantastic restaurant. We spoilt ourselves by indulging in their tasting menu. Whilst perhaps one of the most expensive meals...we have enjoyed over the last 30 years, it was also probably one of the very best. The service was incredibly good from friendly staff and the food was extraordinary - so many flavours and fascinating combinations. The wines were chosen to match the food, as was the five mineral watts we sampled. Would we come back? Certainly - especially if we had something fantastic to celebrate. Thank you to the whole team for a very memorable evening. By the way, or bedroom was lovely and the breakfast also very good indeed!More

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night and booked into the restaurant Great food and wine, really attentive staff who had a passion for the food and wine they were serving. Lots of imbetween taster courses, which were stunning. The only downside the cost was...eye watering expensive, however we knew this before we booked.More

We stayed for one night at the hotel which is superb. The dinner was out of this world - beautifully presented and quite delicious. The wine choices with dinner were also excellent. Breakfast was also very nice. The staff are friendly and so well trained.

What a delicious meal: started with the smoked trout and it was exquisite. then I had the monkfish which was also very good. The plateau de fromage was excellent, well worth choosing over the "fromage préparé" or whatever this new trend of replacing the simple...cheese selection with a dish is called. The service was excellent, not pretentious at all and very informative.More

You are paying the price for a 2 star restaurant (and this has just one) but not all dishes are convincing. We chose the Voyage surprise menu with accompanying wine. The restaurant was busy at a Saturday and therefore we waited quite a long time...for the first amuse bouche and also for some bread (which is quite average by the way). Some of the first courses were creative (e.g. Topinambur leaves), but especially the main courses like partridge disappointed, being correct but average. My wife had asked for vegetarian options which was nice to be accommodated but sometimes meant just leaving out the main ingredient, i.e. was not truly creative. Lastly in retrospect I would not have chosen again the wine accompagnement, which offered good wines, but not really great wines. On the positive side there was a frequent refill, which we felt in the night:-) . Interesting, though, are the choices of mineral water. The service was friendly, not all speaking English, but we are in France for a reason.More

We had the most delicious meal, we had the menu surprise which really was a very pleasant surprise. We particularly appreciated the foie gras poêlée! The wines which accompanied the dishes were well chosen. The service was perfect, polite and discreet. We would thoroughly recommend...this establishment and we hope to come back again very soon.More
