Husband & myself enjoyed a wonderful meal here on a Tuesday afternoon. We pre booked and had a wonderful spot by the window. The menu is in French only, but was easy to understand. The waiters were very helpful and gave advice regarding wine choice. We had set menu for 2, which was about 42 Euro each. I had the... More

We arrive in Saint Malo on middle of afternoon and without having lunch... so we thought that no choice that graving a sandwich or something... we were passing out and we saw the brasserie du sillon open. We thought: why not ask?! Well... at 16h in France there was a restaurant available to cook! Very... very wonderful food! People nice... More

A warm welcome, excellent service, an attractive decor and fabulous bay views are the setting for the Brasserie du Sillon. Add to this a restaurant which is open at times other than formal dining times, and you have something exceptional! And then the beautifully presented starters, the fresh and well cooked fish, and a good wine selection supported by a... More

Stunning and exquisite settings over the waves and cosy dinner rooms. Very nice, efficient and friendly waiters particularly one Brazilian male waiter that has continuously attracted and distracted any female customers around. Wished the same with a female waitress, but none. But lots of meals and drinks were run out like, Crab dishes, fish, white wines like Quincy from Loire,... More

We were lucky to have a table by a window with a wonderful view of the rising tide. The food was delicious. We have eaten here a few times and always have a great meal. Friendly staff. Definitely worth going for a special time.

needing a quick lunch we decided to revisit this barasserie which we know form a couple of years ago. It was very busy and goteven busier so, while the service was polite and reasonably efficient it deteriorated as the lunch service progressed. The main course chosen by my huasband was not avaialble and the wait between ordering and receiving the... More

We made a reservation. Quite tidy we are, a day earlier and another call same day, 4PM. Called 30 minutes earlier, after all it was Christmas Eve. The guy in the other side of the line had no time, no energy and no manners. Tried to manage a polite discussion with him, failed in both goals. Went to l'Arte.

I was on a work trip and was told this was a good restaurant by my hotel. I arrived alone with little French, looked at the menu and felt way out of my depth. Fortunately the head waiter noticed and gently advised me that the Chef's Recommendation was good. I took his advice and ended up with an absolutely wonderful... More

As this restaurant is located along the seafront in Sillon (still just a short walk from the walled town) there is less 'hustle and bustle' involved. We hadn't booked but were able to get a table overlooking the beach. (although being in the evening in November, it was pitch black, so we could have been anywhere)! Food was ok. Mrs... More
