Came here for lunch on the recommendation of my daughter who knows this restaurant well. It's slightly off the beaten track, tucked away near the Palais de Justice, hence the name. The style is typical 'bouchon', i.e. deep narrow dining room with bar near the entrance and kitchen at the back. There's no more than eight tables, bedecked with red... More

We enjoyed our meal at this tiny little Lyonnais bouchon next to the Palais de Justice. The food was great. The house Burgundian terrine with pickles and shallots was excellent, while the cream chicken was also top-notch and tasty. The salmon was also very good. The friendly server was also the owner I believe. He was bilingual and as the... More

Le Bouchon du Palais is a small convivial bouchon with a great ambience and delicious food. We both had their wonderful coq au vin - the chicken was very tender in a delectable wine sauce, accompanied by small potatoes, pearl onions and mushrooms, and a gratineed tomato. The profiteroles for dessert were perfect. The portion sizes were generous, and the... More

We found this place a bit cramped and just a little unwelcoming when we arrived towards the end of lunch service. Although the main rush was over, we were asked to sit in the tightest space available in case other larger groups arrived. That's a little annoying, especially as the other seats were never taken. The waiter was a little... More

I chose this restaurant from descriptions on Trip Advisor and I wasn't disappointed. I wanted local food prepared the local way. I didn't want a meal from a chef with Michelin in mind. It's cozy, only 26 covers. Staff is casual, one speaks English. Make a reservation.

The team were very welcoming, the menu offered a choice of 6 starters and 6 main courses and a selection of desert of cheese. Everything was very well presented and tasty and very good value for money. The hosts were great to everyone in the restaurant, not just to us. Great

Read the reviews and we weren't disappointed. First night on a stop over to the South of France. Small and very friendly with amazing food especially the profiteroles and the Camembert starter (no photo as I couldn't wait was starving!). Enjoy ... We did!
