Having had a late lunch we didn't want to eat at 7pm so booked a table for 8.45... the latest they were prepared to go. After a strolled around we returned and were sat in the window and given a menu. Trouble was many of the meals had run out...like the lamb tagines and the Morrocan soup, both things I... More

This restaurant is in the centre of Tours near the railway station. We had lamb tagine with prunes and almonds, all piping hot. Free olives and bread. Owner was delightful and the server efficient. Only 6 people in the restaurant as it was the 29th December, but would imagine when full a good atmosphere would prevail. Only takes cash.

I had been travelling since early morning. My first chance to stop was at Tours. I had just under an hour between my train getting in and my bus leaving.I needed lunch and spotted this place just across from the station. I went in at about 11.50. I ordered what I hoped was a simple and quick dish to prepare:... More

I liked the flavorful sauces at this restaurant. They do tend to skimp in the vegetables though, and it is somewhat expensive.

I was in Tours for the day with the intention of taking a train from there to Chenonceaux to see the Chateau- I had about an hour and a half to kill before departure, and it was lunchtime, so I decided to go to this restaurant based on tripadviser reviews, as well as the fact that it was right next... My mother and I stayed in Tours as part of a trip to the Loire Valley. This restaurant was very near the station and our hotel. We went early on a Saturday evening without an appointment and were the only diners at first but this is a small, intimate place and we did not feel at all uncomfortable. I had a... More

My wife and I stumbled across this Morrocan restaurant after we got back from touring the Chateaus in Loire Valley, France. The Chateaus are absolutley beautiful! We stayed at the Grand Hotel right by the train stop in Tours, France. We were tired after touring so we wanted to eat near the hotel. We walked around a bit in the... More
