This restaurant is faultless. The food is simple but done exceptionally well. The manager / owner is beyond friendly to non English speakers. A very good sign for any restaurant, it was full of locals. Faultless meal and the price was exceptionally reasonable.

Small restaurant, not many seats but very relaxed, we came here for lunch with quite a lot of daily special. Taste is great, simple and comfortable. Will definitely come again, may be for dinner next time

We've just spent a wonderful evening at Le Bateau Ivre. The food was exceptional, with bonus of discussing the menu with the chef, as his small kitchen was open to the back section of the restaurant. It's a small restaurant, with lots of charm and character, staffed only by chef and host. Do visit, but check the times at the... More

We were simply passing through Riems & checked out Tripadvisor. This small restaurant looked great - we tried it and we're certainly not disappointed..... You would be hard pressed to find a better restaurant were the 'patron' is more able or interested in delivering first cuisine to her clients - it doesn't get much better....

We both weren't hungry when we entered Le Bateau Ivre but that soon changed. The food being served looked amazing and the smell from the kitchen was perfect on the senses. We ate the Fish and Lamb shank that were both matched to wine suggestions perfectly by the very friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again. As a safe... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this tiny little corner restaurant. We suggest reservations because it's so small. There were 2 groups ( a group of 6) and a larger group (8) in the back room and us. That was it for the night. The owner (we assume) is the server. She speaks English and is very knowledgeable about her... More

I did not want to write about this restaurant as I wanted to keep it secret. We went for dinner and had the wagyu (wonderfully flavoursome), and the chicken (absolutely beautiful tomato based sauce), entrees were a salad comprising parcels of goats cheese and smoked duck in french pasty, other entree was rabbit terrine (totally delicious). The bread was even... More

Stopped here for lunch on our day trip to Champagne country before we toured the cathedral. The menu is hand written on a board that they bring to the table and I would have eaten ANY and ALL of it if I could. Had the duck and then cafe gourmand for dessert; exceptional! Wine was good (I was told) as... More

We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, sitting on the terrace at this very popular restaurant. The camembert, steak, scallops and apricot crumble were all excellent.
