We went to this "bistro" for lunch, it was awful ! Slow service, staff not very friendly and the food.... even worse ! This is what I got after 30 minutes... (picture)

Watched euro footie with a very friendly bunch - nice bar staff. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Didn't have food as not serving because of the game, but saw menu and sounded good.

The location and staff were great. We had a continental breakfast which was delicious. I believe their bread was from the bakery a few doors down and it was fantastic! A great place to stop before a day exploring Troyes.

Ok so this place looked ok from outside and we decided to have breakfast there, and unfortunately it was really disappointing. The orange juice (unlike all decent cafes in France) was not freshly squeezed, and the "Croque Monsieurs" were just horrible. I mean you can get a decent one in almost every cafe in France but this was just beyond... More

This is a lovely little cafe, we had breakfast in here 3 mornings on the trot as better value than the hotels, it was very welcoming, was very nicely decorated with lovely original paintings on the ceiling. The baguettes and croissants were fresh from the boulangerie just around the corner and the coffee was excellent.

This is what France is, or should be, all about, but sadly also a kind of place that often looses in competition with modern fast grub. The archetypical French brasserie. Correctly priced with very good, classic and rustic fare. Nice outdoor seating on a busy street. Very nice and friendly (Vietnamese?) waiter. We had the Croque Monsieur and the Croque... More

A stunning building, very Baroque in style with painted ceilings etc. A long established coffee house in Troyes, very popular with locals. It was very busy, on a Saturday afternoon!!. Beware the cappucino!, it doesn't resemble anything you get in Italy. It is a perfumed concoction with a mountain of whipped cream on top. If, like me you don't like... More
