Very nice restaurant with attentive staff. It was a bit pricey, but so is the rest of Corsica! We had an excellent wine recommendation to go with our delicious meal. The setting is also beautiful, right on the sea.

We were in Corsica for the day on a Virgin Voyages Cruise and went to have time at the gorgeous adjacent beach. Our lunch was fantastic (tuna tartare and weekend salad) and generous portions too - and the view was absolutely stunning. We also had...a delicious bottle of rosé (recommended by our fantastic server David). Even during a very busy lunch, the service was fantastic and friendly. (BTW David’s twin brother also works there, so don’t think you were over-served ;-)More
The terrace on the sea was very beautiful. Unfortunately the service is very slow and the food is average. We were not shown the fish before ordering and we were not poured our glass of wine at our table, both things we would have expected...given the level of the place. Waiters were nice but the restaurant is way overpriced.More
In much of Europe , it is difficult to get a really good hotel right on the beach , but le week end does this perfectly . Steps from a gorgeous beach that had warm water , even in late October . We arrived very...hungry after a long drive at about 3 but the restaurant wasn’t open until 8 ( lunch was over ) , and they kindly did a Corsican meat and cheese tray which we had with wine on the soft , sandy beach . Rooms were very nice , quiet, good beds, with a very cool electronic shutter control for the overhead patio roof . Pool was again right next to the ocean but cool As not heated ( why doesn’t anybody here heat their pools for free with solar heat , the pool water would have been 26c , minimum ?? ). Also a nice hot tub , perfect place to watch the sunset . Very close to Ajaccio to see the various Napoleon attractions , about 15 to 20 minutes . The restaurant was absolutely stellar for dinner . Didn’t have lunch . Did I mention the sunsets ? A really relaxing top rate family run small (which is our preference ) resort .More
I must say I was disappointed. I had a bad experience... I ordered a kids menu which was a cordon blue with fries and ice creams for a dessert. After I ate the cordon blue he asked me if I wanted a dessert as well,...I said yes of course. He brought me a dessert menu and just before I ordered something from the menu I told him again that I ordered a kids menu and as I remember I had only ice cream written, if that is correct... he took the menu from my hands with an attitude and asked what kind of flavour I want. He brought me ice cream and almost threw it on the table. Ifelt like I have to apologise for ordering a kids menu. Otherwise before that everything was nice, the restaurant was nice and elegant. Even the toilet was very clean.More
We ended a fabulous morning of swimming by deciding to eat at La Paillote for lunch. In a way the test of a restaurant is doing the simple things well. If they can’t make a good salad then there is little hope. This place makes...a very fine salad. We had ham and goats cheese salad and Weekend special salad. Both well presented and very tasty. These were followed by the dessert of the day which was coconut creme brûlée and very good ice cream. The creme brûlée was an unexpected delight. Service was good and friendly and I would love an evening meal so close to the beach on a warm evening but unfortunately this visit was on our last day. Would recommend it but you might need something or someone to translate the menus as there are no English subtitles and that can be a big positive.More
We loved the restaurant on the beach, very cozy , and at the same time chic, contemporary and elegant. The owner is extremely friendly and nice ... he makes you feel home ... the service in general was excellent. The food superb ... the tataki...of tuna, the hamburger and the salads were all delicious... including the desserts and the digestive! Highly recommended!More
It is never a good sign when on a Friday night there are only three tables occupied......may be it was the weather, it rained. The location is pretty nice and if you could eat on the terrace it would improve things. The indoor decor is...a bit cold and unfriendly. The food is ok, but the St Pierre was a bit overcooked and the bread not fresh. Service was more than friendly.More
Very nice food, not too expensive for the quality, and a great location. The terrace has a great view overlooking the sea. The service could be improved/tweaked in my view. But overall a very nice experience.
My friends and I stayed here for three nights and we loved this place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and modern. The pool area was never crowded. The views from our room were amazing. And the breakfast was the...best we had during our ten days in Corsica and Sardinia. The gazpacho and fresh catch fish were worth a repeat. Definitely stay here when in Ajaccio!More
My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast and Lunch at "Le WeekEnd". Amazing location and fantastic host (Cathy Lecca). The brush was delicious with local products and amazing pastries. We will be back!

Fantastic location, directly over the beach; you can eat with the sound of the waves as a sweet companion. Very nice food, mainly fish, with special offering for kids. Don't loose the foundant au chocolat for dessert.
