We had a great meal for a very reasonable cost here! The waitstaff was attentive! The desserts were fantastic! The steak was tender and flavorful! The fish was flaky and very nicely flavored! The onion soup was good and the carrot soup was amazing! The atmosphere was quaint and romantic!

This is a very home-style cooking place. They do not attempt to do fancy cooking; their dishes are great in taste and priced fairly. It is quite a cute place to go as a couple or as a family. Amazing meat!

Found this small and lovely place after the place we wanted to go originally was closed. I stopped because of the many stickers on the door that said its recommended, and boy, they were right. At a hectic lunch time we were sat upstairs and we got some bread. We ordered duck confit, potato salad and a steak with some... More

This place isn't posh. And it's not expensive. But the food is good. Locals eat here and you get a warm welcome. We shared a table with other guests and ate from the table d'hote. I enjoyed my goose pate and duck confit. The mash was creamy. Nice selection of cheese. Definitely a place to go back to.

Au Pied du Fouet is especially good on a cold, wintry day. The French onion soup was very good. The salad of haricots vert, carrots, potato and lentils was fresh and filling. The place is quite small and cramped; and a trip to the restroom down the stairs can be treacherous. Very kind service. Located very near St. Germain church... More

Ate here twice for lunch in January 2017. A nice corner haven from the business around it. Found the food and wine to be very good value. Service was also good. French onion soup was something special. A welcoming atmosphere

On a wet wintery evening, we were the first diners and warmly welcomed. It was warm and cosy with friendly service and tasty French bustro style food. Onion soup and berry tarte were the highlights. Good value in a pricey area.

After the confusion of being seated next to other people at the same table disappeared, we chose their local wine (white, medium-dry and we simply loved it), some correct cooked onion soup and I went for the confit duck - one of the best culinary experiences I've had in France. My boyfriend had some medium-rare beef and pleased as well.... More

Tried to dine in restaurant & was told that there was 30 minutes wait. OK. Asked if it was possible to have our names taken & we would return in 30 minutes & was told that we needed to wait outside [in the cold] but if we left there wouldn't be any space for us. Disgusting welcome to Paris

Friendly typical French bistro where new people come every 5 minutes. Known for its delicious meat dishes, it is definitely worth your visit when you're in Paris! :)
