We tried a mix of all the typical Iranian dishes with my Persian friend and it was mind blowing. Absolutely delicious and the chef is very friendly. Definitely the place to go to discover excellent Iranian food.

No frills Persian restaurant with authentic Persian cuisine to die for. I ordered the chenjeh and joojeh and it melted in the mouth. Service was very kind and friendly. I would go back to Paris just to eat there!!!! Can't praise it enough!!!!!

In Mazeh you can taste the best quality Persian dishes in Paris. I have never tasted the rice so well prepared as in Mazeh! The atmosphere is more a traiteur-like, no fuss about decoration, simple and basic. The only negative point is that the size of the kabab or jooje skews is shrinking year after year.

The food tasted awful and the price was very unreasonable. The kebab did not taste like Iranian food. The chef and people working in the kitchen were not Iranian so I guess they didn't know how Iranian food tastes like. We felt sick afterwards. The bathroom was very dirty. Don't waste your money and avoid this restaurant.

Mazeh is a small restaurant in a business area. It is off the beaten path for tourists but easy to find and highly recommended to anybody. The food is just delicious, freshly made and great quality. They offer large portions anchored by heaping plates of basmati saffron rice. I was not familiar with Persian food but I fell in love... More

My (Persian-born) husband, adult son, and I came to Mazeh about 20 minutes after walking out on Teheran Restaurant, where we were treated to insulting behavior and a menu that was only partially available in reality. Mazeh greeted us warmly, offered a comprehensive menu of delicious food, and served in a completely professional manner. We left happy.

My husband and I went to Iran earlier this year, and greatly enjoyed our experiences. We were accompanied by a few Iranians, and so were able to have a wide variety of Iranian cuisine. I was happily surprised to see ash reshteh on the menu at Mazeh, and it was really quite good. I believe that this soup is something... More

Mazeh is well known to Iranians in Paris as a Persian catering service, for weddings, parties etc: they serve an array of tasty appetizers and grilled meat and chicken, including their juicy "JoojehKabab"- skewers of grilles chicken, which comes in 4 varieties here. This place is their restaurant, where you can have meals on site. The JoojehKabab is simply the... More

My partner and I got takeaway here. We paid 38.50 euros for four tiny (about 1.5 inches) pieces of poultry that were all dried up, quite a large container of quite nice rice, and a few tiny pieces of chicken in a brown sweet sauce. I can't believe this place is known for its Persian 'gastronomy' and has a letter... More
