This restaurant was recommended and unfortunately we had a very poor experience. The food was quite unsatisfactory-over cooked chicken to the point of uneatable accompanied by mashed potatoes that tasted like they came from a box. My wife's fish dish was average at best. The...More

Table for four, reservations made by the hotel - a must on a busy Sat. evening. Staff a bit short-handed but our waiter seemingly on roller-skates to compensate! Excellent starters: radishes with herbed butter; fab leeks "tiedes"; and classic escargots "persillade". Poulet frites all round...superb,...More

We traditionally like an easy to digest and enjoy type of meal our first night in Paris to help with the jet lag. After years of seeking the best poulet frites (roast chicken with fries) we may have found it. The Rotisserie d'Argent is relate...More

We found this restaurant in a guide book and wandered down to the Quai after a very long, long day on our feet. At one point I'm sure I suggested one of the other cafes we passed, but we were so glad we kept going...More

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel ... as a less expensive way to experience the famed Tour d'Argent. The dining room is bright and casual, but the small open kitchen showed they take their craft seriously. Our friendly server recommended the house speciality duck...More

Very nice restaurant and excellent food. I shared the duck (specialty de la maison...) - and it was VERY good. Friendly service and reasonable pricing for Paris - I can definitively recommend this place.

Our online reservation didn't come through, but we got the last table in the house, in the back of the restaurant near the toilets. I had snails and duckling with seasonal fruit. Service was really fast. We didn't get any bread until mains, which was...More

We first went to this restaurant about 20 years ago (when it was called Rotisserie Beaujolais) and loved it so much that we talked the management into selling us a couple of the waiters' aprons, which we cherish to this day. We have been back...More

We just dropped in attracted by fruits tarts in the window. Turned out as a great restaurant known for duck. Waiters were super kind and gave us perfect suggestions of menu. We had Omar salad, colorful tomato salad, Famous duck, and delicious fruit tart. Every order was wrong. Food was ok.....but the service was just awful. In a lovely location but not worth it. Standard french food cooked with out flair. We left without having dessert because it was that unpleasant.

As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
