After a visit to the Montparnasse Tower we wandered around the surrounding area and elected this to enjoy a coffee and sandwich. Although there are a number of these establishments in Paris this was a pleasant experience with a good choice of sandwiches, pastries and cakes to enjoy with either hot or cold drinks. The service was friendly and helpful... More

I stopped by Brioche Doree to purchase some pastry while waiting for my flight in CDG terminal 1. While I was enjoying my dessert I was disappointed to find this inside my dessert. God forbid if a child were to have eaten this dessert he/she could have choked on it! The cashier wasn't pleasant either. She seemed more interesting in... More

I was looking for somewhere close to my hotel so I came across this place and I chose a jambon mixte baguette along with an apple tart and a large Americano all for 9.50 euros. The nice lady at the check out even gave me a French chocolate!

We arrived in France early in the morning and had to wait for the TVG to Bordeaux. There are several options in terminal 2, near the train station, Brioche Doree being one. The service was respectable, the pain au chocolate reasonably good and fresh, and the espresso excellent. The service was not excellent, but it certainly fit the bill and... More

There are quite a few dessert choices and some fresh baguettes, wine, beer, soft drinks and various hot drinks. Staff efficient and reasonably friendly when it's not too busy. However, rather expensive for what it is, a sandwich shop. However little choice in terminal 2d. There was a large screen TV which was good for many folks as the football... More

This chain can be found around Paris and offers pasteries and sandwiches, quick eats at a resonable price.

I tracked this down after lunching here several times on my last visit. Great to visit while you're out and about and you need to refuel. Free wifi which is great and the lunch package (salad, dessert, water) is handy. Service is not super friendly, one person I asked about wifi was lovely but the others weren't. My Parisian friend... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
