This was a wonderful restaurant. We found it by accident. The menu is handwritten and in French. Very authentic experience.

This is a good place to go (in the Latin Quarter) for excellent and reasonable-priced boeuf bourguignon. It is a classy little restaurant that stands out on a short block of restaurants. Get either one of the prix fixe menus (both feature the boeuf Bourguignon) and enjoy it with some house red wine.

I had been looking around for a nice cozy restaurant with good food not too fancy as prices are crazy just home cooking. I had past the restaurant already and noticed some guests inside so I decided to give it a try. I took a table so I could look outside since I was alone. I seated myself and I... More

Bunch of birds singing in a cage on outside the restaurant attracted us in. The menu is set up for value and the quantity of options in the prix fixe may lower the quality of some items. My friend had an excellent beef bourguignon but my cabillot was boring with rice and green beans. My gesiers salade as an appetizer... More

Husband and I are here one night and it was absolutely amazing! Very good value. He got the 3 course menu option and I just got a dinner. The French onion soup!!!!! We shared as it was a very large portion, boy was it wonderful! So flavorful and cheesy. Both main coursed were great followed by chocolate mousse. House wine... More

Don't expected to be treated like an American waiter would treat you, but good service. The food was very good and they even made some space for my huge suitcase. I decided to only have the tap water and no other drink and they didn't make any faces like in other places, haha.

The staff is pleasant and helpful. We chose the menu at 12,90 € : the food was tasty, and the portions quite large. Not a top notch restaurant, but Ok for the price paid. Just avoid to take the "pichet" of wine, which quality is poor.

Ended up here for a meal last night with my husband, 2 children (9 years old and 18 months old) and 2 friends. The food was fantastic! I had onion soup and salmon, my husband had snails and kangaroo. Everything was cooked beautifully. Even our toddler loved the snails! The staff were fantastic with the children and so friendly and... More

This is a really good restaurant serving up traditional French cuisine. The previous night we had dinner (at more than twice the price) at Brasserie Lipp which is one of Paris ' great, old time brasseries. The food served up at Lipp was good but it was clear they just were not trying. La Citrouille was much, much better by... More

We've now had two meals here. Lunch with three of us, picky about food and we like to be comfortable La Citrouelle is a cozy place without pretensions in a hip part of St Germaine des Pres. It has a excellent wine list and menu or a la carte. My lunch from the 12.90€ menu included an appetizer, a main... More
