My boyfriend and I visited La Scarpetta on the last night of our trip and I wish we'd visited every night! The service is beyond excellent with a bilingual waitress who is pleasant and very accommodating. We received nuts, olives and bread whilst we waited and on ordering I ordered the goats cheese on toast for a starter (having never... More

Was staying at The Hotel Cervantes for 3 nights and ate at this restaurant 2 of the nights. Nice food at reasonable prices served in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Ideal after a long day pounding the pavements of Paris.

Gem of an Italian restaurant right next door to Hotel Cervantes. Evelyn, the delightful Sri Lankan lady who is front of house, speaks very good English and also remembered us, despite it being five years since our last visit. The food is very reasonably priced, freshly prepared and not skimped on portion size. Drinks are reasonably priced too. If you... More

Friendly waitress who spoke good English. Good value and tasty pizza and pasta - we visited three times (it was very close to Hotel Cervantes where we were staying) and were very happy with our meals.

My sister and I were staying up the road with our 3 children aged 8 to 14. We came for dinner one evening. The service was great, and very accommodating, and the food was decent, tasty homecooked food. Everyone of our party had a good meal. It was very reasonably priced as well. We had pizzas and lasagna.

My husband and I were staying at the Cervantes Hotel this week and visited La Scarpetta twice on Rue de Berne. The Waitress was very helpful and we had a lovely meal. I enjoyed the pasta on the first night and pizza on the other night. Prices were very good as Paris can be quite expensive. Would definitely visit again.

We were the only couple there. I had to complain about my food, the sauce was watery and obviously was not intended to be. I pointed out to the waitress that this was probably due to the fact that the pasta had not been properly drained and the plate was swamped. Although very pleasant the waitress didn't seem interested and... More
