This restaurant I stumbled on trying to find a nice cosy authentic place to have dinner with no frills and fancy food. I ordered the steak which was cooked to perfection with the kitchen not that far and was recommended to have the fries which...More

Friendly, good selection, but our dishes were... a bit disappointing. I took one of the specials, the rack of lamb, and despite the 5 euro supplement, was unimpressed. One good thing: they serve you wine in a "pot Lyonnais," a 46 cl bottle, fine for...More

Just steps away from the Gare de Lyon. Friendly welcome and service. Good 3 course dinner fixed price (30 Euros) menu. Check the blackboard for specials. Nicest affordable wines.

Really delicious food, unpretentious, with excellent flavors. Superb service making you feel like you're at home. Good house wine- the grenache was quite excellent, and wonderful desserts. Tiny little place, big heart! Quality at very reasonable prices. Small menu, maybe 10 entrees. Served in minutes....More

This is a bistro with good seating outside. I hated the area-it is rough and we were approached by beggars while eating. The service was prompt and friendly and the food varied and reasonably priced. Would have rated higher if not for the beggars, and...More

Very nice local brasserie - unpretentious, fine food, very friendly service - even with two young children, and great wine list. Worth a trip.

We were very warmly welcomed by hostess who happened to be the owner. Then she was very flexible in taking our order besides offering some suggestions for food and wine which turned out to be excellent. We are an elderly couple from India who don't...More

Description
Entre les Vignes restaurant in Paris near the Gare de Lyon has been serving up the divine regional cuisine of Lyon since 1908. This charming bistro has the right look: red moleskin banquettes, prettily moulded ceiling, lamps with little pleated shades, Miles Davis and Charlie Parker gently wafting through the air, a colour scheme that could have been dipped in strong tea. It somehow adds up to quite a cool place. Patron Carole behind the counter welcomes and advises you to his intimate venue. The daily specials on the slate are highly recommended, as is the pleasant terrace when the air is warm. And the wine list is widely agreed to be more in keeping with a great two-star eaterie than this fine local restaurant, so drink deep and enjoy.
