We had a great lunch here. Very friendly service, nice location and good food at reasonable prices. The mixture of locals and tourists makes it an attractive place.

Enjoyed some wonderful food, the champagne happy hour and the perfect views on the Opera! Friendly waiter was fluent in English which made things a lot easier.

Nice restaurant, medium upscale inside. I had French onion soup and cheese plate. It was good. I just think overpriced. Soup was 9.60e, husband got Cesar salad 15e. Server was friendly, I think they just aren't as attentive in US. I have had mediocre service in most restaurants here.

Came here for wine only and it was okay. The venue did not have a great choice but the prices were reasonable and the view of the opera house was very good. The personnel was very friendly and smiled a lot, which is always very nice to see. We sat at the table on the pavement to enjoy the view.... More

Took my girl for her 31st here. The staff were amazing. Very good service. I asked for a window seat but was told they were fully booked. However after the starters, the waiter said he made sure that we got a window seat cause it was her b-day and he moved us over the second a table was available. The... More

I spent couple of hours there having couple of hot drinks, ordered cappucciono first and didnt feel the taste of coffee at all, it was more of a milk, then ordered espresso it was ok. I heard the waiter shouting at a customer who tried to walk upstairs telling her: you are not supposed to walk up without us getting... More

The service was poor, we waited a long time for service and even if we called them it took a couple of mintes befor they came. The cost for this evenning was high for... More

A good bistro with a friendly and warm atmosphere, this is near the Opera, in fact just opposite so very well situated after a long day shopping at the large department stores or after a tour round the Opera House. The bistro is not large, in fact if you sit in the upper part the tables are really close together... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
