We stopped here for a quick crepe after wandering around the Louvre. The service was okay, quick at least. We only tried the Crepes which were pretty good but overpriced as you can get better and cheaper ones from street vendors; they offered my partner cream on his without explaining that it would be almost 2 extra euros for some whipped... I liked this place from the beginning and in a trip of 10 days in Paris I went to eat all the dinners there (except the first time before knowing this place). The staff is very nice and kind and can help you with food. And the food, I tell you, it's awesome! The prices are also very good (probably... More

This was my second time here, revisiting after about 4 years. The place is the same as I knew it, looking like it's been there since decades. Just like the first time, I ordered a well done beef steak with french fries, sauce and salad. The plate is 13.5 euros (a little more than 4 years ago) but it' s... More

An old-fashioned, family run café with decent food and decent prices is more than I expected to find in this touristy neighborhood with a view of Paris' monuments. A happy surprise!

Completely tasteless food, even though the price is reasonable it's not worth it. Find somewhere else to eat.

Stopped here for lunch while out site seeing. The family that runs this place are friendly and the food is good with reasonable prices. I would not go out of my way but if your in the vicinity and looking for a place to eat then try it. One negative is that it lacks atmosphere.

I spend an afternoon in the restaurant with an elaborate lunch including a cheese selection and a quiche accompanied with a nice bottle of rosé. The restaurants is possible one of the cheapest and beat around the louvre with view of the Seine

Popped in here for lunch - some fries, a couple of crepes and an onion soup. All very nice. The staff were friendly and only too willing to assist.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
