Visited night of April 13th. Small, quaint bistro with great ambiance. Open kitchen where we watched the chef create fantastic food. Service was very good and welcoming to our group of three. Very fresh ingredients, think farm to table philosophy Food was elegantly prepared and delightful. Found the 3 course set meal a great way to order. We had oysters... More

Exceptionally good food. Truss bien to the chef. Right underneath the Eiffel Tower Shame its listing in TripAdvisor means it is full of English every night! Quite expensive but food is very good.

I visit M. Firmin' resto every trip to Paris and have done so for 5 years now. The food and service just get better and better the Pykefish soufflé with cream and mushrooms, this last time, was terrific.

Two couples looking for a wonderful place to eat on a Sunday night & had no reservations, we were so so lucky to find this marvelous restaurant. It is small, maybe 8 (?) tables & we did not have reservations but the owner (chef & server owned) was very kind and offered us (almost apologetically) the only table she had... More

Delightful small restaurant where we met and talked with the chef/owner and his son. Carefully prepared food made to order. Literally down the street from the Eiffel Tower. When we left, the tower's lights were sparkling against the nighttime sky. Great fun.

For a luxury restaurant we thought it will be a night to remember and now we want a bit to forget. One dish was very bad, the waiter looked at us in cold looks for not liking it. Since than she was very unpleasant. Other dishes were varied between ok and good. Not worth the money.

Dear Shuka S, we do feel sorry you seem to have had a bad experience when going to the restaurant. However, I believe you must have mistaken in the establishment you're describing. Firmin le barbier is not what you can call a "luxury restaurant". We are a casual bistro and do propose a 37 Euros 3 courses set menu, which... More

After visiting the Eiffel Tower with my partner and 6 year old daughter, we found this little gem a couple of minutes walk away. The food was excellent and all (and I mean everything) was home made. The menu was small which is something I find reassuring. The service was also excellent. The lady at the front of house was... More

During August a number of restaurants are closed, not here (French/Thai) and without doubt our most delightful meal in Paris. We were extremely well looked after and the meal was spectacular. A bonus was a short stroll to watch the lights come on the tower shortly after.

Nice cosy restaurant. Very friendly staff! And great food, I especially enjoyed the Thai influences they incorporate in almost every dish. Not cheap, but that's the 15ieme I guess...

When I made an 8pm reservation the person I was talking to said that he could give better service if we came at 8:30pm because of a large group arriving at 8pm. He was thoughtful to suggest it and that's what we did. The restaurant is small and things would almost certainly have gotten backed up. As a result, and... More
