Two couples. Vodka Martini was poor (in a wine glass filled with ice and slices of lime). Alias [red wine] was fine. Foie gras de canard, pain bio grillé, suffisant pour deux was average. Pizza, jambon de Parme et roquette was a good size for one person with plenty of topping but taste was average. Monte Cristo sandwich was average.... More

We joined our Parisian friends at Le Coq for an early dinner. Reservations (for the early time) were easy to get on a Friday night and we enjoyed our experience. The decor is unique and the food was very good! I had filet of fish, recommended by our waiter, wrapped in banana leaves. It was amazing! The desserts were good... More

We had lunch on the terrasse: we hadn't booked but got a table as we were there early. We ordered a Cesar salad, a pasta and a spicy tuna and avocado: food was good and good size portions. I found the prices high and service pretty bad (slow, difficult to get attention, not very welcoming). An ok place to go... More

This restoran has nice interior and intimate atmosphere aldought it is tipical tourist restoran. Menu is ok Wine list is fine, stuff is corect but you have to pay attention by giving a tip. I gave 50€ to waiter and told him that tip is 10€ and after 10 minutes he didn't come back. I had to ask him If... More

This is one of my favourite hangouts in the 16th arrondissent/ part of Paris. A resto / cafe all day dining that is part of the coste establishments. It's great for people watching and many chic locals hang out there.

Met with client for lunch . Friendly service and buzzing atmosphere. Had escalope Milanese with pasta which was delicious. Only downside is the table was a bit small and tub chairs low. Great location though !

Just popped in here for a hot coffee due to the weather. Staff were great! We spilt both our drinks and was cleaned up immediately no fuss, and both was replaced free of charge! Worth a visit for sure!

This restaurant has a fabulous location and it looks very inviting however, the staff is not all that friendly. Food was ok but I was not too impressed I mean, this is Paris, it's supposed to be fabulous. I believe this restaurant has a great potential but they need a more diverse menu and a service more focused on quality.... More

Fancy place with great wine and polite and professional service. Good place to grab a drink with friends just next to Trocadero metro station, perfect to go after admiring blinging Eiffel Tower. The interior is spectacular! Good to go to feel a little bit of luxury for not so high prices.

Cozy restaurant with amazing view. The scenery is amazing, as the sunsets, the lighting/colours also follow suit. Great location from the Eiffel tower. The food is ok. Perhaps not a good option for solo travelers.

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
