Not only did they block off the entrance to the toilet that had no toilet seat as I came in to sit, but they also only offered me a menu without the "3 Euro service charge per person" disclaimer running our bill significantly up because we are tourists. I am a young american who does not appreciate being taken advantage... More

Dinner after long day walking-touring. Small and a block off the main avenue. Seats under 20 and busy at 9:30pm. Wonderful thin crust pizza and good dessert mousse!!!!

What a pleasant surprise of this Italian pizzeria. Just off a small lane, across Novotel. The Hosts were friendly and food was rustic home style.

We stumbled onto this tiny little restaurant and what a great find it was. We were late getting back from tour and decided something quick like pizza would definitely be in order. The menus outside were in French but when they realised we spoke English they have us English menus. We ordered two pizzas and sat outside waiting they said... More

Found this excellent restaurant by chance. Very small Italiannbistro, run by an efficient and friendly portuguese familiy. Nice ambience, feels like you are eating in an Italian kitchen. Me and my familiy tried different pizzas and all were divine. Loved the food and the service.

We saw this on our way to the hotel. Small tables in an alley beside the restaurant building with the kitchen just inside the door. We asked for a table for four and they quickly fetched more tables and chairs and made space for us. Pizzas where authentic, crisp and nicely balanced on sauce, cheese and toppings. Just like a... We just saw the pizza sign, and after walking around Paris all day, it sounded good. A quiet little place with very little seating, but you get great service and good prices. They do have English menus, and I'll reiterate a review from below--only credit cards with the chip! The house wine was fine and the pizzas came out quick... More

Cute little quiet bistro, with good pizza and wine at reasonable prices. This a great place to go if you're dining alone and want to just relax--they have several red wines available in half bottles and won't give you any attitude or too much attention if you're alone. Their spicy oil is delicious but they only have one large bottle... More

We stumbled upon this when we were looking for a supermarket to find a quick lunch(there is a supermarket on the same street but the Pizza sign caught my eye) The family that operates welcomed us right away, the pizza was really good, the service was fast and the price was very reasonable. The street and restaurant were quiet and... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
