We were staying opposite so visited this restaurant for supper with our two small children (4 and 7). There were no other kids there, and it isn't the obvious place to take children - more suitable to a leisurely meal as a couple or with friends - but we didn't want to compromise on having a nice meal out! All... More

A colleague of mine recommended Au 35 to me before I went to Paris, so we stopped by for dinner one night. It's an unassuming little place on a small, quiet street, but it turned out to be one of our favorite spots! The servers spoke English and were totally sweet, and you can't beat a 29 Euro prix fixe... More

We happened upon Au 35 when strolling, looking for dinner. We both had Prix Fix, which was wonderful - started with carrot soup, then choice of pastilla or salmon, ending with crime brûlée or tarte tatin. And a generous glass of wine, all for 29 eu. The staff were friendly and atmosphere was good.

This wonderful small restaurant was recommended to us separately by two of our friends in the US, and we were so pleased. All 3 of us were in the mood for steak frites, and they were wonderful, but the menu was complete if you're looking for something else. Since it is small, make sure you make reservations.

Having arrived in Paris in late afternoon after a nine-hour flight delay (on a Sunday, no less,) we wanted to find someplace close to our hotel, since we knew jet lag and fatigue could overwhelm us at any time. I knew that this restaurant was close, and in fact, it was about a three-minute walk away. When we arrived, there... More

We had a wonderful evening in this tiny and friendly local restaurant. The two waitresses, Eva and Pauline, went out of their way to explain the menu and to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, the waitresses were knowledgeable about each dish and the accompanying wine list and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Have eaten here twice. Very friendly (and English speaking) maitre d'. Ate alone once and did not feel self-conscious at all. Food is good, no fancy or fussy, and price is moderate. Fixed price menu is always very good.

It's a bit of a squash but has atmosphere and is always busy. It was a return visit with the same staff as last year, as helpful and friendly as before. Good food at a good price.

My husband and I were recommended Au 35 by our hotel and weren't disappointed. The wine suggested was lovely and we very much enjoyed the food. A great meal if you're in the area.

Description
hostess welcomed us with a smile. The food was prepared with love, care, and the best ingredients. Just a perfect tiny and elegant room with an aura of good work done with delight and fine food offered without any attitude of preciousness. Quiet and charming surroundings. Chic without being a slave to fashion.
