Situated close to our hotel, this cozy restaurant was the perfect choice for a memorable French meal. The food was delicious, the service magnificent, and the venue intimate. The chef and owner went out of their way to make sure we were pleased with every detail of our meal. This was the best meal we had in two trips to... More

This small restaurant offers simple traditional dishes very well cooked. Duck, lamb, fish and scallops were all delicious. Wine also quite good. Drawbacks include the size of the portions that are fairly small (and not cheap at that:a thin lone slice of Beaufort cheese for 9 euros appears excessive). The place gets noisy when full,we ended up in the back near the... More

Les Botanistes was recommended by our hotel (we were staying next door) so thought we'd try it out. The menu only had a few items on it but they were delicious. I had the beef filet with potato dauphinois and my friend had the duck confit. Both were exceptional and one of the best meals we've ever had! The delicious... More

This restaurant was a few doors down from our hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The salad greens were so fresh and flavorful with a light dressing. The food was cooked perfectly and the reduction sauce was excellent. The small space (there are not many tables ) was warm and inviting. You felt like you... More

Family run place, we went for lunch (late, 2:15pm) but they still served us- overall they were very friendly and accommodating. Menu was in French, but they happily translated. Great variety in the food and a personalized meal experience. Food was superb! Particularly the pork chop and sauce. Definitely would recommend for lunch, or even a nice dinner as well.... More

My wife and i first went to Les Botanistes five years ago on the last leg of our honeymoon. We had an incredible experience 5 years ago, so we, of course, returned when we were in Paris this month celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. In short, the food is among the best you will find in Paris, but the... More

A lovely local place with classic French food well prepared and flavoursome, space between the tables and friendly service. A sympathetic wine list. We are regulars

I've always wanted to stumble upon that perfect little place, quintessentially French, where the food equation is an uncluttered menu, great produce, beautifully cooked by a fabulous chef. This is it. A simple chalk board menu of limited dishes in a non fussy environment. The highlight for me was the best foie gras entree I have ever had. Creamy, rich... More

Les Botanistes. Quiet Parisian bistrot. A small room, intimate settings behind red velvet curtains, oak bistro tables, a counter, checkerboard tiles. Attentive service, classic French cuisine, short menu and tasty food like mussels remoulade, duck confit, apple flan. Good wine list. A bit expensive but it's worth it.

Went there with my wife on December the 30th as the place was getting ready to close. Service was kind and food simply amazing!
