Firstly, the server made fun of us because we asked a little detail on the menu (we asked what a "lait chaud infusion" was because the way they appeared on the menu made us think they were one single item). However, this bistro is nestled in the seventeenth arrondissement. They aren't many tourists there so the contact with the locals... More

The locality of Villiers has a great choice of restaurants and cafes where you can dine on the pavement tables with the locals. Very good meal of rump steak and frites followed by nice selection of fromage - blue, goats and chantal.

We stopped into Bistrot d'l-D as it was just around the corner from our accommodation and we didn't want to go far on our first night in Paris. The best recommendation that we can give is that we also chose to eat here on our last night in Paris. The food is simple and very good, but for us the... More

My fiancé and I went here for dinner several times while staying in Paris. The waiters were always nice and brought our food and drinks really fast. We enjoyed their delicious burgers, cooked just the way we asked. We also tried the Farmer salad and Nicoise salad, and the foie gras which was accompanied by a fig confiture, I believe.... More

I stopped here Easter Sunday for a late lunch and had the gigot d'agneau rôti à la fleur de thym, flageolets and was pleasantly surprised. For an unpretentious bistrot, the food was excellent, and the beans were not overcooked and very fragrant. In addition, there was a good selection of wines, which could be ordered by the glass--always a plus... More

Our first stop off the plane looking for a bite. Nice way to start the stay. In the middle of a busy food street. Nice, nothing fancy decor, you can sit outside - heated but smokers - or inside. You are right in the middle of the bustle of Parisians doing serious food shopping (BTW very good cheese shop opposite and... More

I spent about three months living virtually next door to this bar / bistro and found it to be very friendly and consistently good. They will serve anything on the menu as a takeaway and will take orders until 11pm. They have good, reasonably priced open wines - the wine of the month is generally a good buy. In the... More

We arrived at around 8 PM which was apparently early for dinner. A staff member who was eating at a table inside inquired if we were there for dinner and when we said yes, he started eating more hurriedly. After a wait of around 10 minutes, we were given a menu and were able to order. The service was friendly... More

For our final meal in Paris(and to end our Europe trip) we gave this place a shot since it was right in front of the apartment we were staying at. As my wife didn't want to try any "weird" French food she settled on the chicken with lemon sauce and I got the pork fillet with bleu cheese sauce. Both... More

Went to eat there today as 12.30. I got a soggy hamburger, terribly servered. When I complained a rude french server sarcastically said "ce n'est pas comme ça en amerique?!". I'm irish and I've lived in Paris 15 years. The sarcastic tone of the voice, as if I'm superior because i'm french. Awful service, terrible food and an extremely rude... More
