Very nice meal of the day; very friendly service. Get there before 13:30 or you might miss out on the main meal of the day that is reasonably priced. We took our time looking at the selections and then proceeded to order our food. Delicious and lots of seating room. Lots to choose from: salads, starters, breads, vegetables, drinks, meat... More

Large selection of cold and warm dishes, cafeteria style. Good quality , french /italian type selection. Wine and beer available . Good pastries. View of the Hotel de Ville. A very busy place. Next door is a Starbuck for those who wish it.

as i said nice shopping center but a lot of things are mentioned for tourists so you can see there are big prices. Also the staff is not here to serve you, probbably you will have to search all yourself, and after try to grab someone at the payment desk.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced lunch in Paris with a very large selection, the restaurant the the BHV (now Le BHV. Marais) is the place to go. It's on the fifth floor...there is now a Starbucks next to it, yea a Starbucks. It's cafeteria style. You grab a little cart, put your tray on it and fill up... More

We had a cheap but extremely healthy lunch on the 5 th floor in the Japanese corner. The dishes are fresh and you can have a good quality for reasonable prices. Service was fasten and friendly and the views amazing!!

The cafe at the BHV IS the place to go for a reasonably priced lunch. Not sure if it's subsized by the state but the prices are very reasonable. It's a place where the retired people go for lunch and then hangout. Where else can you can you go in Paris and have a really great lunch for 10 euros?... More

On the 5th level of the BHV department store is a self-service cafe. Like the cafeteria in college or at a hospital. OK food, nothing fancy but I found it all typical and fresh. Also a grill and a few other options. You buy a "jetton" or token at the register for the coffee machine. Great views overlooking the city... More

Very basic food but it is cheap for those on a budget and....AND..... They have some of the best and cheapest coffee in Paris! The last reason is why I go there after browsing the levels of the store, one of my faves for some of the best shopping anywhere. There is a rather pointed and barbed comment in French... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
