Cheap eats here and we actually ate here twice during our 12 day stay in Paris. Both times we wanted to eat at Art du Ravioli but twice it happened to be a Wednesday so they closed. Chez Shen is beside it so we tried it. My favorite was their garlic pork noodles at 5 euros, cold boneless chicken feet,... More

This is a kind of Chinese cafeteria which has been here on Rue du Maire for decades. I can't remember how long ago was the first time I was here, but it's at least 20 years. It's what I call a good restaurant for ordinary, rather bland Chinese food, what we could called Americanized Cantonese food in the US, but... More

This tiny place not far from the Pompidou Center serves amazing Chinese food. When you enter, you can see many of the dishes displayed at a take-out counter with pastries and scallion pancakes displayed on top. Definitely go for a meal! The service is fast and efficient and everything is delicious. You will be seated with others and it is... More

...but perfect for foreigners. It's an authentic wenzhounese fast-food place almost like in China. Relatively cheap with a lot of choice. Not the best authentic chinese restaurant around but it's fast and the ingredients are fresh.

I absolutely adore having my Raviolis au porc, and two nems to start, if it's cold I'll usually have a soup with noodles and beef, if it's hot I love the Vermicelles de riz au boeuf, I'm not a fan of their dishes precooked, but noodles, Vermicelles and pasta dishes are great!

This is really great Chinese fast food. You can get 3 dishes and rice for 6.50 euros, or order from menu. It's surprisingly great. I would not call it a fancy restaurant, but it is adequate and clean, and food is great.

If you like noise, to sit at the one table with other guests , the poor Chinese students , and the poorest French, then come here. The food is not very bad but it is primitive.

Reminded me of my years in China, so that means the food tastes authentic! The price is also great for Paris, and the ladies working there are really fast.

When you go to Paris, you don't expect to find such great Asian food. But hey, why should I complain, we took a lunch for like 7 euro each and had a delicious bowl of noodle soup with shrimp dumplings and chicken sweat and sour. It was a fantastic and crowded little restaurant in the neighborhood of Arts et Metiers.... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
