Not sure about the restaurant next door but the takeaway shop for these little beauties is superb. The best tarts ever, €12 for 6, sprinkle a little cinnamon and away you go. Only small but well worth it, will keep coming back as long as...More

I had lunch there hoping to re-live the wonderful culinary experiences I had in Lisbon years ago, but I left with a sense of disappointment driven by the absolutely disappointing food they serve....except for the absolutely delicious dessert. If I ever return it will be...More

The staff were unbelievably rude - even by French standards!! Could not get our order correct and then tried to blame us for it. Food was horrible - both in presentation and taste. If you want to try Portuguese food, go to Portugal. This is...More

We couldn't tell you anything else that this place sells, as we seek it out only for these warm, cinnamon-y, custard pastries. Nestled in the middle of the block in Roi de Siciliy, this place is definitely worth discovering. They've opened a new restaurant right...More

This quaint shop in the Marais sells the most delicious Portuguese Tarts that are on par with those at Belem in Lisbon. The pastry is flaky and buttery and the custard is creamy and delicious. They also sell other deli items such as cod in...More

In our list of food to try, the portuguese egg tart from here is one of it. We bought to take away as we already had lunch. Being Asian, i had tasted better portuguese egg tarts, so this was just ok in my opinion.
