Another little cafe that stands out. Five years ago my friend and I stumbled upon this place and this time just found it again and still just as good. Great cafe style food at reasonable prices and friendly staff.

We stopped in here for lunch, I loved the cool retro style diner. Lots of color and splash. Not your typical find for Paris. And the food and service was great!

Service was slow but that seems to be very common in Paris. Food was ok. Heaters outside were not warm enough.

Love this place! We ate lunch and dinner here and stopped in several times for drinks too. Great, fun service. Funky decor inside that's so reminiscent of the Peach Pit on "Beverley Hills 90210." This place is a bit pricey but if you're in the neighborhood and hungry or thirsty, you will be glad to have stopped here.

Hands down the worst experience of our week in Paris. After a week of great food and wine in Paris...lots of wines in lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, all great, and with great service. Went into what looked like a nice place for a drink. Ordered a vin chaud as I had many times before during this trip, and was... More

Me and my girlfriend stopped over here to sit down and have a drink. I ordered a coffee and my girlfriend ordered vin chaud. The wine didn't taste very nice, very acidic and bitter. She complained to the waitress and she did get it exchanged for a glass of normal Bordeaux wine. This also tasted horrible, I tried it myself.... More

What an inviting cafe and wonderful find while exploring the boutiques in Marais. The vintage decor and the pastel colors instantly caught my attention. It is unclear, but it seems like a nice little local spot. The customers did not strike me as tourists. The service was very slow. However, this is the type of cafe that you don't mind... More

The most generous serving of steak tartar I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The attention of the personnel was easily obtained and they were willing to discuss the menu. A warm welcome and competitively priced.

Just unacceptable. We sat on a table outside, put our order (coffees) to the waiter who came back 3 minutes later to tell us that we couldn't stay if we did not order lunch! It was 2:30 on a saturday , way past lunch time.

This cafe was opposite our hotel so we headed there for breakfast on our first morning. I sat outside while my husband went inside to order. He was studiously ignored! We then waited outside at a table thinking somone would come & take our order - but no. We voted with our feet and found another cafe - plenty to... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
