We went there on the day of our engagement. Amazing food, good pices, and friendly staff. Better than any other indian/pakistani restaurant in the area.

My friend and I went here for takeaways. I got chicken vindaloo whilst my friend got chicken jalfrezy. Both were delicious, a shame that it lacked spice but the flavours were fantastic. 100% would eat here again. The man who served us was lovely and very helpful (even speaking English which was a pleasant surprise). Highly recommend this Indian. It... More

If you like the idea of replicating the Indian experience of 'street food', then this for you, a vast amount of the restaurant is in the street, well an alley actually. From the off we had a plate of mixed starters, Bhaji's, Pakora's and Samosa's. The main's were a Chicken Vindaloo and a Salmon Tikka Masala accompanied with a Spinach... More

Just passed through this restaurant while visiting sacre coeur, confirmed its 4 rating at trip advisor and went for lunch. We had vegetarian a la carte lunch and satisfied with taste (mild but tasteful) fast service but like everywhere else in Paris the personal touch/ the soul was missing in service, more surprising as they have Asian staff not local.... We rented an apartment close to this restaurant and had a meal there. Price was average to high for what we had (a la Paris) but the food was average compared to what we can have in Canada, small portions, service was good. I do love how during the closed periods, you would never know there is a restaurant there... More

I'm Indian and have worked in the food and hospitality business for several years. Undoubtedly the Indian food in Paris is nowhere near as good as that in London. However, this terrible restaurant takes the cake for the worst, most tasteless food in Paris. Cold samosas, artificial microwave heated curries and a naan that took 3 reminders to arrive. Absolutely... More

The restaurant seemed very nice so we went in there with high expectations. The waiter brought us to the table and was never seen again. He went to the kitchen and didn't come back. After 15 minutes and still no menu card we decided to leave.. This is some really poor service!

Working in a hotel not far from the restaurant, I'm use to order to "Au palais de l'Himalaya" often. I can tell that the chicken Korma and the butter chicken are probably one of best in town. As I lived a while in Delhi, I can tell this is the closest true taste of mughlai cuisine that you can find... More

Like the location, just of the main streets in a smaller ally. Decor great, absolutely stunning food. Menue of the day at EUR 12 great value for money. Waiter could have been friendlier and a bit more english friendly.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
