I wanted to know if there was a really good place in Paris for a crêpe or if they this Bretonne classic was just for the tourists. I found Galette Café. We had - a apple cider on tap - a tiny bit alcoholic but...really delicious and refreshing - we both had « galettes sarrasin » crêpes made with buckwheat flour - I had boudin noir and my wife had the vegetable selection. They were crispy and delicious from the first bite. Service was very polite, efficient, and friendly.More

This was my first French galette meal. I was not familiar with these buckwheat, thicker than a crepe wraps. They are served open faced and were delicious. The fillings were fresh and crisp. I wish I could get these in the States! We also had...a dessert crepe....yummy.More

Gallete was good. More liked with chiken. You can chouse the menu(gallete + sweet crepe 15.9 eu) Staff was very friendly. Needed to wait ~5-10 min. Near the d'Orsay and the Dome.

Totally bad. Gallette is cooked with super low level ingredients (smelling bad as well) also, the party is heavy, salty and over cooked. Never coming backMore

I am sorry to hear that our food did not meet your expectations. It is hard for me and our artisans to read your comment. You said " low level ingredients " -> we work with small producers, artisan and favor organic farming. We belong...More

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch. A smallish place but with seating for many. The host (he may also be the owner) was so welcoming and vibrant. The food was amazing. High quality ingredients clearly advocating all things french. The whole experience was...very authentic and enjoyable.More

Came in with my parents to have a quick break. The ambiance was quite busy and the place almost full. My parents had eaten but I not yet so they ordered drinks, I something to eat. Soon after I heard the staff behind us talk...about us not ordering enough to eat. They came direct to tell us that we cannot stay as they have people waiting to get in (maybe 2-3 and some tables were already clearing at the same time). My parents left and I quickly ate my crêpe that I had already ordered. I heard the staff behind complaining that I still stayed and they didn't have more seats clearing as a result. In a way I understand the reasoning behind their decision but I still think it was very impolite and not thought very far-ahead. We were paying customers even though my parents didn't plan to eat. Also, now I will always remember this place with negative feelings when I walk past it. After, I found my parents in a nice corner café across the street where it wasn't an issue that I joined them without ordering. The service was excellent and everyone happy. This makes the difference: service.More

This cafe was nearby our apartment and on a tired afternoon, we wandered in. We had no idea we were in for such a treat. Amazing crepes, both savory and sweet. Fabulous staff. Good wine. Attention ton detail and quick service. It was not touristy...and the menu featured lots of fresh ingredients. Fair prices as well. Pictured is the roasted chicken crepe! Enjoy!More

Went there for lunch and tried the menu, which includes oysters and a galette. The oysters were ok and whomever opened them probably needs some training as they had too much shell debris. The galettes were very tasty, the buckwheat recipe for the batter gives...them an interesting depth of flavour which is nicely balanced by the richness of the fillings and lots of salad leafs to complement it all. The waitress was very nice and spoke perfect english.More

What an amazing café not far from the Museé de Oraay. One of our family members is celiac, and she has been missing out on experiencing the amazing baked goods in Paris until today. We found the café on TA and couldn’t be happier. They...use a great menu with savory and sweet galettes and crepes and someone with a gluten sensitivity will here feeling like they had a real French food experience. Don’t miss this place!More
