Five of us stopped for lunch at Le Cave Gourmand while touring Le Rue De Martyrs. We had not done any research, but like the look and feel of the place. Orders ranged from Ravioli, to Beef Burgonion to Bone Marrow with Toasts. Everybody loved...their food, and the house wine. The owner/server was also a delight to deal with. Highly recommended.More

Came for a drink, while waiting for our dinner reservation (we had 45 minutes to spare). Surprisingly friendly atmosphere! Bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere was great! To be fair, we didn’t have any food (wine and beer only) but it was great.

We ate a cheese Platter and asked vor something vegetarian. They made something vegetarian only for us, which wasn't even on the menu. Everything was delicious. We can definetly recommend, if you are looking for good french food and a welcoming, warm atmosphere.

La nourriture est délicieuse! Omg the best restaurant I ate in Paris! Definitely a must if I come back again in Paris! Location: It is located 5 mins from Sacre Coeur! After visiting the church go here! The interior is a typical french restaurant, the...outdoor dining is just lovely, real French experience! Service: omg she was so nice! She gave us a lot of recommendations, and explained well what is in the menu! Food: Everything was so delicious! Omg thinking about it I want to come back! ESCARGOT with BURGUNDIAN SAUCE: this is a must! There are 12 snails and that green sauce is so good! The snails are tender, I put it on a toast. BONE MARROW with TOAST and SALT: another favorite! The marrow was creamy and the salt complimented it! It is also good with the toast! BEEF BOURGUINON: my first one! It was so good! The sauce is delicious and the beef is tender, I wish I have rice! Lol SALMON with MASHED POTATO: the salmon is perfectly cooked and that sauce taste so good, the side vegetables are fresh. Price rating: 7/10, the price matches all the deliciousness! Not bad for a Parisian restaurant. I will come back here definitely when I go back to Paris. I will eat everything I ordered again! Get the escargot, it was the best!More

I was in this restaurant with my wife while we were in Montmartre, helping us to look at the most apparent. The restaurant for lunch was empty, probably because it is on a secondary road so it is not immediately seen from the tourists. The...room is very welcoming with relatively few tables. The waiter extremely friendly. We took Um "Saumon Marine", "Fois Gras de Canard", "Boeuf Bourguignon" and 2 "Verre de Vin". The dishes were abundant and well presented and of excellent quality. Absolutely advise the best, to be more visited than other restaurants in the area. We paid 91 euros in two, in my opinion more than honest, seen the area and quality.More

Is it a nice little “find” in the slopes of Monmartre? Yes and no, equally I would say. Well executed traditional French food; I had a perfectly cooked duck breast and my husband had a rack of lamb; both with fried potatoes and green beans....The choice of white wines was very unsatisfactory; sweet Chardonnay as a house wine which we had a carafe of or a very mediocre Sauvignon at around £34 a bottle which we ended up having as the Chardonnay was undrinkable. £125 for the two of us which would’ve been perfectly fine if only the quality of the wine was slightly better.More

Absolutely loved this place! Food was excellent, wine was lovely and the host was great. I had the beef bourguignon which was incredibly tasty and my partner and friend both ordered the lamb ribs which they also really enjoyed. The beef was delicious with big...chunks of tender beef and the ribs were huge with lots of lovely meat to enjoy!More

We’ve been to Paris four times and this was absolutely one of our favorite places. Charming and full of character and the owner is delightful. The food is sublime. A wonderful gem in Montmartre. Still thinking about our meal three days later!

I looked at a few different websites to see if they took online reservations and didn’t see where you could make one. If you feel like you really need one, you could call the restaurant. But we just walked in. We didn’t have... More

Yes they do, however, there are other great choices and it depends on the Chef's offerings that day. You won't regret the visit to this quaint restaurant. You will be treated as if you were family.
